Aquarium System Design Service

Contact us for help choosing the right equipment to meet your goals before you go to the store. We provide consults to cut through the noise and save you money in the long run by making sure you have what you need and skip the sales pitch. We do not currently sell equipment directly, so we don't make a dime upselling you on "stuff" you don't need.

Aquarium Installation

Once you have the equipment you need, we offer complete white glove setup and education on your new equipment including our Aquarium 101 bootcamp so that you have the baseline understanding of your new aquarium you don't get from Big Box Stores. From low-tech to high tech (including CO2 injection), we have the expertise to get you up and running in no time.

Maintenance

Sadly, most aquariums are not a set-it and forget-it proposition, even with the simplest setups. Water changes, cleaning, and additives are a lot, but we can take the guesswork out of the process. We are currently accepting a limited number of clients for ongoing service agreements and are always available for "Tank Rescue" appointments if things get out of hand. We also provide emergency service for established clients.

Water Testing

Many pet stores offer free water testing for aquariums. Most use aquarium test strips or drop testing to give you a ballpark idea of what your tank chemistry is like, mainly to sell you a "quick fix" product off the shelf. While both test strips and drop-based kits have a place, OwlCroft Aquaria also offers complete digital water testing providing lab-grade results in the comfort of your home. Our approach is more holistic because knowing the "numbers" is only half the battle. By getting eyes on your aquarium as part of the testing process we can truly explain the impact of what the numbers mean and how to correct any issues. Despite what you'll be told, there's rarely a quick fix.
